The 6th Section of the "Modern Greek Language" textbook for the 5th grade is "Friends". After reading(processing) the Chapter "Friends sing" our students composed verses,made drawings.Translated by our our school's English  teachers. Music by Manos Xatzidakis: " the waltz of the lost dreams".

My own  best  friend

I've got two friends
and  I don't want to lose them.
 If some day this happens
then I'going to cry for them.

You ask what does friendship mean?
To always be there
to listen and to talk
to cry and laugh together.

Like our friendship
 there is no other
because you are the friend
that I love so much above all.

With my own wings
fly and don't be afraid 
don't be scared by time
no matter how far away you are.

With a sweet smile
and a big kiss
in my heart you came
my friend , I won't forget you.

Friends that are dear to me
with a big heart
I would choose again
if I was reborn.

My friend is loyal
and I trust him.
Many things we've shared
and I always treasure them.

Those  friends who supported me
I'm never going to hurt
I will always be there for them
and I will never break their heart.


As time goes by
and my hair turns grey
I'll be there my friend
to support you always.

I'm never going to fight with my friends
and I'll never betray them.
I'll always treasure them in my heart
no matter how far away I'll be.

You are always there
no matter what I tell you, you don't leave.
You are my companion
how much I love you!!!
