Sometimes the most beautiful acts are born from a pure desire for understanding and solidarity

In this spirit the students of the 7th General Lyceum of Acharnes, took an important initiative to explore autoimmune diseases, a topic often left on the margins of social discussions. With sensitivity and dedication they decided to research raise awareness and most importantly give a voice to those who face this challenge every day.

Through their efforts, the students conducted a moving interview with two young individuals living with autoimmune diseases. Eleni and Myrto with courage and honesty shared their experiences the difficulties they encounter and the strength they draw each day to keep going.

Their conversation highlighted not only the challenges of such a diagnosis but also the importance of understanding and acceptance from their social environment.

On the other hand the students of the 7th General Lyceum of Acharnes proved that the new generation has the power to change the world not necessarily through grand gestures but through small meaningful actions that demonstrate respect love and solidarity.

Their initiative was not just a journalistic investigation but a journey of emotional and ethical growth teaching them that knowledge and empathy can build a more humane and just society.

This project reminds us that the power of youth is invaluable provided they are given the opportunity to express it. Eleni and Myrto became the voice of all those who fight their battles in silence and the students of the 7th General Lyceum of Acharnes became the medium through which that voice could be heard louder. And that, in itself, is a small triumph of humanity
